Full Stack Contract Developer | 3 Months | Remote

Outside IR35 · Day Rate: £450 pd · Start: ASAP

A fast-moving tech business is looking for an experienced contract developer to join a small engineering team for a focused 3-month engagement. The work spans front-end development and a legacy database migration — a good mix of hands-on building and behind-the-scenes groundwork.

The Project

You’ll be working on a platform rebuild and data migration, helping to modernise a legacy system and deliver a clean, well-engineered result ahead of a hard go-live deadline.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building and improving front-end features using React
  • Supporting the migration of a legacy database to PostgreSQL
  • Integrating Clerk for authentication within the new architecture
  • Transforming and validating data to ensure a clean cutover
  • Collaborating closely with a small internal engineering team
  • Supporting testing and QA ahead of launch

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong React experiences
  • Solid PostgreSQL skills; some SQL Server exposure is useful but not essential
  • Familiarity with Clerk or similar modern auth solutions ideal
  • Experience working on or around database migrations
  • Self-sufficient, pragmatic, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

The Details

  • 3-month contract (extension possible depending on project needs)
  • Fully remote
  • Outside IR35
  • £450 per day

Full Stack Developer
📍 UK Permanent Engineering 💰 £50,000
Posted 30 June 2026

Full Stack Developer

Remote / Hybrid

£50,000

A Niche Sports Technology business is looking for a full stack developer to take ownership of their core platform — a ground-up rebuild on a modern stack, with real commercial deadlines and genuine engineering ownership from day one.

This is a first dedicated engineering hire, working directly with product and commercial leadership. If you want to own outcomes rather than work a ticket queue, this is worth a look.

What You’ll Work On

  • Building client-facing dashboards, admin tooling, and a mobile-web field capture application
  • Owning the data layer — PostgreSQL schema design, multi-tenant row-level security, analytics, and a significant legacy data migration
  • Running CI/CD pipelines and keeping a live, revenue-bearing platform stable under real-world pressure
  • Working AI-natively — directing and reviewing agent-produced code as part of a deliberate engineering culture
  • Shaping architecture and delivery standards across a growing product portfolio

The Stack

Next.js 15 · React 19 · TypeScript · Tailwind · Supabase (PostgreSQL) · Drizzle ORM · Clerk · TanStack Query · Zod · GitHub Actions · DigitalOcean

Depth in TypeScript/React and relational databases is the priority — you don’t need every box ticked.

What We’re Looking For

  • A product-minded generalist who has shipped and operated real applications end-to-end, ideally in a small team
  • Strong database instincts — schemas, constraints, multi-tenant security models, and data migrations are your comfort zone
  • Comfortable with AI-assisted development and able to hold the quality line when using it
  • Pragmatic about scale — correctness and delivery pace matter more than distributed-systems complexity here
  • Self-sufficient and happy working with close proximity to product and business decisions
  • Ideally an interest in Sports

Why It’s Worth Considering

  • Real product, real revenue, real users from day one
  • Greenfield modern stack with a clear build plan already in place
  • Genuine ownership — first engineering hire with a direct line to leadership
  • An AI-native engineering culture built deliberately, not bolted on

Pricing Analyst | 6-Month FTC | Up to £80,000 | London (Hybrid)

A fast-growing, purpose-led eCommerce business is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their cross-functional Pricing Squad. With over 1,000 employees across the UK, US and Europe, this organisation uses proprietary pricing technology to serve millions of customers across 190+ countries — and data is central to how they operate.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll own analytics and reporting that directly drives pricing strategy — across both buying and selling. What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years in analytics, ideally in eCommerce or marketplace environments
  • Strong SQL skills — comfortable querying raw data in a cloud environment
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI or Looker)
  • Solid experiment design skills — A/B, multivariate, incrementality testing
  • Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field
  • Strong stakeholder management — able to present findings clearly in trade and senior business meetings
  • Excellent reporting skills — translating complex data into actionable commercial insight

Desirable

  • Python or R experience

Why this role?

You’ll join a collaborative analytics community that’s raising the bar on data maturity, working on problems with direct commercial impact. This is a business with genuine purpose at its core and the growth trajectory to match — your work will be visible and valued.
